Pitch and Win with Pastor Umo Eno is a monthly entrepreneurial support program designed initiated by Morgan EkanemSenior Special Assistant to the Governor on Special Dutiesas part of his dedication to youth empowerment and enterprise development as it aligns with the Arise Agenda of His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, Ph.D., the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, whose vision is to foster innovation, drive self-reliance, and build a sustainable economic future.

Each month, one outstanding entrepreneur receives ₦250,000 in funding to help scale their business.

Through Pitch and Win, we are investing in the dreams of young entrepreneurs, one business, one idea, and one success story at a time.

How It Works

The following process and conditions are hereby issued for Registration to particpate in the Pitch and Win Entreprenurial Competition.

1. Registration

  • Opens: 1st of every month.

  • Platform: Online portal (link will be provided).

  • Intrested persons are to register and submit the following:

    1. Business idea / existing business pitch (summary).

    2. Personal and business details.

    3. Supporting documents (if required).

    4. A professional headshot photograph
  • Deadline: 7th of every month.

2. Screening of Applications

A panel of experts will review submissions and select the Top 10 entries based on:

    • Originality of the idea

    • Feasibility and sustainability

    • Community/economic impact

    • Growth potential

3. Social Media Voting

  • The Top 10 ideas will be published on the official Pitch and Win Facebook page.
  • Voting = Facebook likes on each post.
  • Voting lasts 10 days.
  • The Top 3 ideas with the most likes qualify for the live pitch event.

4. Live Pitch Event

The Top 3 finalists present their business ideas at a live event to:

  • A panel of 3 judges

  • A registered live audience

Each contestant has equal time to pitch, after which judges may ask questions.

Voting, Winner Selection, and Award Presentation

    • If all 4 judges agree, that contestant wins.

    • If the judges are split, the live audience votes to decide the winner.

    • Results are announced immediately after votes are tallied.

    • Winner receives ₦250,000 business support fund

    • Recognition on official social media platforms
